How Much Does a Flying Dress Photoshoot Cost, and What Is Included?
From €370 for 30 minutes to €2420 for 3.5 hours: what you pay for, how to compare offers from different photographers, and the extras worth knowing.
A flying dress photoshoot with us costs from €370 for a 30 minute shoot in Santorini, Athens or Mykonos, and most people choose Marilyn, our most popular package, at €570 for one hour. Every package includes the flying dress, a photographer who guides your poses, every photo color corrected in full resolution and a set number of retouched photos. Prices go up with the length of the shoot, the number of dresses and retouched photos, and what else is included, up to 3.5 hours with three dresses and a cinematic film. Here is what you pay for, how to compare offers fairly, and what the extras are for.
The short answer
- 30 minutes, 1 dress: Jeane, €370 (Santorini and Athens).
- 1 hour, 1 dress: Marilyn, €570, our most popular package.
- 1 hour with hair and makeup, a reel and an assistant: Happy Birthday, €970.
- 2 hours, 2 dresses, luxury transfer: Mr. President, €1440.
- 3.5 hours, 3 dresses plus a casual look, a film, a luxury minivan: Diamonds, €2420.
- Cruise stop: Cruise Day Mini €470 (30 minutes) or Classic €660 (1 hour), transfer from the port included. Mykonos has no Mini, but adds Cruise Day Signature at €1140 (2 hours, 2 dresses).
- Several ladies: Group & Celebrations, €370 per lady, €330 per lady from 3.
- Your own outfits: Lifestyle, €360 for 1 hour.
Dubai packages cost more (Marilyn is €760) and include more; every price is on the pricing page. Couples pay the same price as one person, and children join at no extra cost.
What makes one package cost more than another
- Shooting time. 30 minutes is enough for one spot and one look; one hour covers several spots without rushing; two hours or more allows a second dress and a change of scenery.
- Dresses. One dress in most packages, two in Mr. President, three plus a casual look in Diamonds. An extra dress can be added for €120.
- Retouched photos. Every photo is color corrected in every package. What grows with the price is the number of light retouched photos (background cleaned, dress smoothed) and signature retouched photos (detailed editing of skin, body, dress and background): from 8 and 3 in Jeane to 50 and 30 in Diamonds, 80 retouched photos in total.
- People on the shoot. A personal assistant who makes the dress fly is included from Marilyn up and in the Group and Cruise Day packages, and can be added to Jeane for €30.
- Hair and makeup. Included from Happy Birthday up; €310 as an extra for both, €160 for one.
- Transport. A transfer to the spot is €45 each way; Mr. President and Diamonds include a luxury minivan, the Cruise Day packages include the transfer from and to the port.
- Speed. The larger the package, the sooner your photos arrive, down to 3 days for all photos and 9 days for the retouched ones.
- The rest. An Instagram reel and a cinematic film come with the larger packages.
How to compare offers fairly
Prices for flying dress photoshoots vary a lot between photographers and booking platforms, and the headline price rarely tells the whole story. Before you compare, check:
- Is the dress included? Some listings add a dress rental on top.
- How many photos, and in what state? "30 edited photos" can mean 30 color corrected photos and nothing more. Ask how many are retouched, and how.
- Do you receive all the photos? We deliver every photo from the shoot, color corrected, before you choose the ones to retouch.
- Is there an assistant? Without one, the dress flies lower and the shoot takes longer.
- Is transport included? Many listings leave it out.
- When do the photos arrive, and for how long are they available? Ours arrive through Dropbox and stay available there for 1 year.
- Can you use the photos freely? We include unlimited usage rights in every package.
- How do you pay, and can you cancel? We take a 50% deposit online with Stripe, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your shoot.

Why some offers cost half, and what you give up
Flying dress photoshoots have become popular, and so have very cheap offers for them, often at half our price or less, from people who may be visiting the island for a season and who are not always photographers. We regularly hear from visitors who booked one of these and then contacted us, not to book, but to ask whether we know how to find the person who has their photos. We can't help with that, but we can tell you what usually goes missing at that price:
- A registered business and a written confirmation. With a cheap offer you often pay in cash, with nothing in writing and nobody to turn to if the photographer doesn't show up or the photos never arrive.
- The dresses. A real collection means your size, your color and a clean dress; a handful of dresses in one size means whatever is left.
- The assistant. Without one, the dress doesn't fly; it hangs.
- The editing. "Edited photos" can mean a filter. Light and signature retouching take hours of work after the shoot, which is where part of the price goes.
- Delivery. All your photos, kept for a year, with the right to use them freely; not a few files on WhatsApp weeks later, or none at all.
- Experience with the light, the wind and the spots. Knowing where the light falls at 19:40 in Imerovigli in June, and where to go when the north wind blows, is what years of shoots teach.
A good shoot with a serious photographer costs what it costs because of the people and the hours behind it. If a price looks too good to be true, ask the questions in the list above, and ask for a complete delivered gallery, not a highlight reel.
The extras, and who needs them
- Assistant, €30 with Jeane: every other flying dress package already includes one; the difference shows in every flying photo.
- Extra dress, €120: worth it from one hour up; in a 30 minute shoot, changing costs time you would rather spend in front of the camera.
- Extra hour, €320: with 6 signature and 15 light retouched photos more, if you tell us in advance.
- Hair and makeup, €310, or €160 for one: so you don't need to find a salon on holiday.
- Instagram reel, €120, or a cinematic film, €380: the reel is a short edited video with music; the film is a 1 to 2 minute video of your shoot.
- Fast editing, €120 or €170: all photos the next day, retouched photos within 7 or 3 days.
- Complete confidentiality, €170: if you would rather we never publish a photo from your shoot.
- All photos in RAW, €140, for anyone who edits their own. Mr. President and Diamonds include them.
- Girls' dress, €70, so a daughter can match.
Is a flying dress photoshoot worth it?
Honestly: it depends on what you want from your trip.
- Worth it if you want photos you will frame rather than scroll past, you like the idea of being guided by a professional for an hour, and you want the dress, the spot and the light chosen for you. One hour of your holiday for photos you keep for life.
- Think twice if you would rather not be in front of a camera at all, your schedule is already full, or you want quick phone snaps. In that case the Lifestyle package, in your own outfits, is the gentler option.
Most of our clients have never had a professional photoshoot before, and most say the same thing afterwards: they were nervous for the first five minutes and then forgot the camera. Our reviews on Google and Tripadvisor, 4.9 from more than 4,500 clients since 2018, are the best place to judge.
