Why Megalochori Megalochori is a calmer, traditional village in the south of Santorini, with white bell towers, stone archways and rocky viewpoints on the caldera edge. Many of our photos here are taken at sunset, with the sun glowing behind the bell towers.

Plan your shoot Best time Many of our Megalochori photos are taken at sunset, with the sun behind the bell towers. Ask us about the sunset time for your date.
Meeting point Once we have everything we need from you, we email you the exact spot on Google Maps and all the details. The day before your photoshoot, we send a reminder with everything again.
Getting there A transfer can be added for €45 each way, and it is included in Mr. President and Diamonds. Cruise Day packages include the transfer from our meeting point in Fira, near the cable car, and back.
Shoes The viewpoints on the caldera edge are on rocky ground, so comfortable shoes help.
Megalochori questions Can we have our photoshoot in Megalochori? Yes. Tell us you would like Megalochori when you book, and we plan your photoshoot there.
Is Megalochori good for a sunset photoshoot? Yes. Many of our Megalochori photos are taken at sunset, with the sun behind the white bell towers.
Megalochori or Imerovigli? Megalochori is a quieter village with bell towers and views across the caldera. Imerovigli sits high on the caldera rim and is our recommended Santorini location. Tell us which look you prefer.
Can cruise passengers book a photoshoot here? Yes, when your time ashore allows. Our Cruise Day packages include the transfer from our meeting point in Fira, near the cable car, and back. Tell us your ship and your all aboard time when you book.
Can my partner join? Yes. Your partner can join the photos at no extra cost, and family members can join too.
